About Heart House Hospice - hearthousegiving.com
Heart House Hospice is one of Ontario's largest community hospices' and plays a critical role in the Mississauga and Brampton communities by helping those facing a palliative diagnosis to live their life with dignity and comfort, while supporting their loved ones along this journey. We offer grief and bereavement support and palliative care for people of all ages at no cost.
Each year, more than 1,000 individuals who are living with a terminal illness and over 3,600 loved ones receive compassionate support from Heart House’s interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers. The individuals, their families and caregivers receive home visits, participate in day programs, children and youth grief programs, complimentary massage therapies and other out- reach programs. Thanks to community support, compassionate hospice care can be provided with dignity and peace for those who choose to live their last days at home rather than in a hospital bed.
